This Georgetown Inn by the C&O Canal Is on the Market

Canal Inn is closed down, but up for grabs for those interested in owning a waterfront property in Georgetown.

According to the listing, the hotel was renovated in 2012 and is built out with 10 rooms, a third-story loft, and 11-and-a-half bathrooms. Each floor of the roughly 3,350-square-foot building features a balcony or patio. The site is zoned W-1, which permits “matter-of-right low density residential, commercial, and certain light industrial development.” The asking price totals $2.25 million.
